Ongoing Initiatives
Mobile Food Pantry
We have partnered with Golden Harvest Food Bank to provide food to those in need in Columbia County on a monthly basis. We distribute food on campus as well as providing deliveries of food boxes to people lacking transportation. The Mobile Food Pantry operates on the Second Saturday of every month.
Clothes Closet
At our Mobile Food Pantry, we also provide free clothes to our guests who visit our campus. This is just another way to show God's love to our community.
ARK International
One of our partners in downtown Augusta is ARK International Church. On the last Sunday of every month we help host an outreach lunch to feed and share the Gospel with people of the community. There are also several other opportunities to get involved throughout the year.
Harlem Senior Center
One of our local partners is the Harlem Senior Center. We strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus by providing several activities throughout the year, building relationships with the seniors and sharing the love of Jesus with them.
Annual Projects
Operation Backpack
Each year as the summer comes to an end, we make sure local students have what they need to start the school year off right by providing basic school supplies to those in need. We are adding new components to this program each year as we seek to extend our reach and bless area teachers, as well as children in schools that we have partnered with overseas.
Angel Tree
Every year around Christmas, we have the opportunity to brighten the holiday season for families who may need a little more help. Through Angel Tree, we are able to bless neighbors, families, and friends with Christmas gifts. We throw a big party where we distribute the gifts to the families we serve as we celebrate Christmas together.
Engaged
Each year we, as a church, go out and serve our local community for a day. Our teams serve all over the CSRA, performing various acts of service such as repairing homes, baking cookies for local law enforcement, mowing grass, and giving free popsicles away at the park. This is our opportunity to actively go into the world and become engaged in our community so Jesus' name can be made famous.
