About Us
Thanks for stopping by. We’re glad you’re here and hope to see you at our Sunday service. Our services aren’t just something we attend or do. We aren’t just a building or an event. We are a people, the body of Christ, sinners saved by grace. That’s right. Our church is full of imperfect people, and that should make you feel all the more welcome. We all fall short of God’s glory and need a Savior—Jesus Christ.
Though our campus has its own distinct flavor, Journey Community Church is one church in two locations. Some things are definitive of our campus, but our vision, values, and beliefs are the same across campuses.

What should I expect?
At Journey, we want you to come as you are. You'll see some people wearing their Sunday best and others wearing shorts and a t-shirt. We welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life because we believe the message of Jesus Christ is for everyone.
Our services typically last just over an hour. Service will start with the band leading us in music, and song lyrics are projected on the screens so that you can sing along and engage with worship. We'll hear a few words from one of our service hosts and then listen to a hope-filled, encouraging message about Jesus from Pastor Bobby (via a live broadcast from our Evans campus), your campus pastor, or another speaker on our teaching team.

Where do I park?
We work to structure parking in a way that allows the maximum number of people to attend our services. Please follow the instructions of our parking team as they lead you to open sections of the parking lot.
How can I connect?
Once you've walked inside, you'll be greeted by members of our Campus Connections Team. They are available to you throughout your time on campus to answer questions and lead you where you need to go.

Preschool
Preschool (Birth - K)
JourneyLand Downtown is home to our newborns through kindergarteners.
In JourneyLand, safety is our first priority. With our preschool-age children we aim to provide an age appropriate learning experience, and that takes place in our Downtown environment. Within Downtown we have nursery classes for the smallest members of your family. Older ones can enjoy a small group and large group time where they will experience a Bible lesson, worship, and fun activities on their level.

Groups & Studies
J-Groups
We encourage everyone who calls Journey home to get involved in long-term community. For us, this happens through our J-Groups. These are small groups of people who meet at least every other week in someone’s home to have community, study God’s Word, and serve others. Normally, J-Groups have 8-15 people with common interests.
Access Groups
Access Groups are short-term groups, classes, and studies that dig into God's Word and show life application. Through Biblical study and spiritual discussions, we will come to know Jesus better, grow in our faith, and go out into the world to share the Gospel, all in the context of short-term community.

Serve
Serving is one of the many Next Steps you can take here at Journey. We serve others because of the example Jesus set during His life as He served His disciples and others around Him. If your Next Step involves serving, we want to provide you with opportunities to do so. You don’t have to be an expert to be a servant. Serving means offering the time, talents, and treasures that God has given you to help bring others closer to Jesus.
