Volunteering at Night to Shine

What to Expect

Thank you for your willingness to make this night unforgettable for our kings and queens! Volunteers should expect to be at the event on Friday, February 13 from 5-9:30pm, unless specified otherwise. Per the Tim Tebow Foundation, all volunteers ages 18+ are required to attend one of two trainings and submit to a background check.

The minimum age to volunteer for most positions is 16, except where noted by “18+.” Formal attire is required for all volunteer positions listed below on the night of the event unless otherwise noted. Volunteer registration opens November 7.

Due to limited space for Honored Guests and VIPs, only volunteers with a role that takes place on Friday night may attend the event. However, you CAN serve with a “before/after” team AND a “night of” team.  (Ex: Setup Team AND Food Team)

RED CARPET TEAM
The Red Carpet team is open to all ages and is the one team that does not require a background check. At the beginning of the night, this team will act as the “paparazzi,” welcoming guests and making them feel like kings and queens as they arrive for Night to Shine. This is the perfect place for whole families to serve together. For the safety of our Honored Guests, Buddies, and Volunteers, our volunteers on the Red Carpet will not enter into the dance once the Red Carpet is shut down unless a volunteer has been approved to do so. Be at the venue by 5:30pm to serve in this way!
