Journey Students Parent Tailgate
Who: Parents of 6th-12th graders
When: Wednesday, May 15, from 7-8:30pm
If you’re the parent of a 6th-12th grade student, we’d love for you to join us on Wednesday, May 15! You’ll have the opportunity to attend our worship service at 7pm to experience what your students experience each week. Then when the students head off to their small groups, parents will get to meet with and hear from one of our pastors! (Childcare is available for younger siblings.)

Engaged
Engaged, our annual week of serving our neighbors, is May 6-11! Check out the projects available and then sign up to participate individually, with your community group, or as a family. We will gather Saturday morning on each campus for breakfast and prayer, and then head out to serve.

Who: Open to ages 3yrs (by May 1, 2024) through completed 5th grade

When: June 10 -14 from 9am – noon
Who: Anyone in middle school or older!
What: Volunteer at our version of vacation Bible school! Roles are available for pre-K or elementary crew leaders, registration, drama team, and more!

Cancer Care
When: Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30pm
Where: Evans campus
Cancer. A word we often don’t want to hear, acknowledge, or even talk about. It can be scary, overwhelming, and even unimaginable. However, we want to provide a safe space for you to come meet other who have dealt with or are currently walking through a season of life with cancer. From caregivers and family members, to active patients, survivors, and medical professionals, this gathering is a launching pad for long term cancer care. Whether cancer has touched your life personally, or someone around you we want you to know that we care about you and want to provide support through this season of life. Come join us on Tuesday May 7, 2024 for a night of meeting others and hearing how we can walk alongside you in these different seasons of life.
Operation Back to School
We want to bless teachers and paraprofessionals in the Journey family! If you work in the school system and attend Journey, you can fill out a nomination form for Operation Back to School. You’ll give us your wishlist of classroom supplies for the 2024-25 school year, and the congregation will fulfill your list over the summer! Complete the nomination form by May 19.
EXT. 45: The Wet-N-Wild Season Finale
When: May 15th from 6-7:30pm
Where: Evans campus (outside)
Who: JourneyLand 4th & 5th graders and their 4th & 5th grade guests
Dress to get wet! Bring $4 for pizza and Kona Ice, plus a towel!
On Ramp – Evans
When: Sunday, May 5 at 1:15pm
Where: Evans atrium
Join Pastor Bobby and other staff members to learn about who Journey really is, find out how to partner, and engage in Q&A. Childcare and lunch will be provided. For more information, stop by the Next Steps area on a Sunday!
Connect Groups
Formerly called Access Groups, these are short-term groups, classes and studies that connect us to people and God’s Word. Most classes happen on Tuesday evenings, and childcare is available.
