Portrait of soldier with family

Welcome

Whether you’re new to the area, on assignment, or have been here for some time, we want to say welcome! We are grateful for you and for the sacrifices you and your family have made. We recognize that military life and transitions come with unique differences and challenges. Our desire is to come alongside to support and serve you, giving you and your families every opportunity to thrive during your time here in the Augusta area.

Below you’ll find information on how to get involved here at Journey, along with some resources as you transition into the area.

About the CSRA

The Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) is a thriving community that has grown tremendously over the past 3-5 years and expects steady growth in the near future. Much of the growth is due to Fort Gordon attracting more businesses.

The community greatly values and appreciates the service and sacrifices of military service members and their families. Many restaurants and businesses offer discounts to active/retired service members and veterans. Just ask!

We recognize that many unknowns come with transitions, so we want to provide you with local information. Welcome!
